Shrink Plastic, Felting and Embellishing Beads and Baubles!
Join master multimedia artist, Gail Crosman Moore, and learn how to create a stunning pendant, earrings, or even as a holiday decoration using a combination of some of our favorite craft materials!
Learn how to work with shrink plastic to make original bead end caps. If you haven’t played with this material yet, you will be shocked at the possibilities. Gail will show you how to add just the right amount of color before shrinking to create these little gems.
Then see how to embellish a simple felt bead using a combination of materials to create a show-stopper focal piece.
Embellishing felt will cover a range of choices we can make, from thread to sequins to beads and techniques plus learn how to make the sewing of beads into felt easier.
Gail will demonstrate how to take the individual components and assemble them onto a steel headpin, using design and color concepts.
Finish up with wire wrapping and adding a focus finial to complete your pendant.
Get ready for lots of creative fun and inspiration!
