Paula Beckett

Paula grew up in New England. She was surrounded by historical design elements which included a rich history of timeless brick and stone art work, intricate artisan inspired woodwork, rustic iron fences and wonderfully patterned tin ceiling tiles.

Each element has been woven into the enduring style of her designs from work reminiscent of tin ceiling tiles rich in historical architecture to nature’s delicate beauty in her botanical line of jewelry.

Paula holds many metal clay certifications. Earning these certifications gave her the skills she needed to teach classes in metal clay. The local Junior College in North Texas didn’t offer jewelry making classes. Paula decided she should start that department. She reached out to the director of the continuing education department at Collin County Community College in Plano. After listening to her proposal and seeing her beautiful pieces, the director hired her. She has been teaching at Collin College for 10 years. Paula offers private classes at her studio also in Plano, Texas.

  • Your classes are just amazing and I have learned sooo much from Cindy Pope’s classes on the Silhouette machines. She breaks it down so any beginner can learn. I didn’t take my Curio out of the box for a year until I watched her class. Now I’m addicted
