What version of Silhouette Software is this and is she using a Curio

Hi Francine, Silhouette 4.1 is used in the class, which is also very similar to 4.2 and she shows all the Silhouette machines with focus on the Curio.

Silhouette 4.1 is used in the class

Is the price on this older class a mistake? I mean the version of silhouette is 2 versions old and you can get the new boot camp PLUS the leather book class for way less :/

Hi Anna, No the price is correct. This class has over 6 hours of instruction that is still totally relevant to the software. Silhouette does add additional tools to the software. You can check out Cindy Pope's Boot Camp 2020 where she shows you the new additions. This class covers the how-to regarding designing with the software as well as working with text, transferring files paper cut-outs and lots of other tips and hints. It is well worth the investment of money and time to really get to know the software.
PS the summer sale is still on so you can save 30% by using the code: summer2020

Hi. I just received my new curio and am interested in hitting the ground running. I'm a little perplexed as to why my software is version 3.4.370 when I just got it. Shouldn't it be the latest version? But the main question I have is about whether this is a good class to take as an absolute beginner. Also, is the 30% discount offer still available?

Hi Adriane,
This is a good class and unfortunately, new machines sit around in boxes while software and firmware are being updated. It's my experience that whenever I purchase a new piece of equipment I have to update the software/firmware.
Give it a try and this class will help for sure.
The 30% off sale did end, but get on our mailing list for coupon updates!

I've just started this class, and I've created a shape. I zoomed in on the connection points I made when I split the shape and mirrored it and none of them look open, but I still can't get the shape to fill. Is there another reason why it wouldn't fill, or is there something I'm missing?

Hi Adriane, Send us a screenshot of the problem to: [email protected]
We will try and troubleshoot the issue for you.
