Create a 3D Flower Polymer Clay Necklace using your Silhouette Cameo™

Instructor Bio:
103 minutes

I love working with the Silhouette Cameo™ paper cutting machines, and NOW you can learn from Mags Bonham how to cut polymer clay!

Watch and learn how Mags creates her stunning 3D flower POLYMER CLAY necklaces using the cutter to make easy multiple flower replications.

Learn how you can prep your clay, set the software and have the cutting happen right before your eyes. Mags shares with you the settings on the machine, the type of blade and the thickness of the clay that will give you perfect results.

Ms. Bonham also demonstrates step-by-step the simple software she uses to design her flowers, and also how she previews her “Skinner Blend” color choices before even mixing the clay.

See how to do a basic flower trace from a real photo, or create an original design using fonts and design tools, plus other easy software possibilities.

Watch how to cut, bake and add dimension to your finished flower pieces.

Then Ms. Bonham shows you close-up how she assembles her flowers, stacking and embellishing with pearls and crystals, plus the professional way she finishes off her one-of-a-kind statement necklaces.

Very interested by the possibilities but I own the Cricut Explore Air 2.
Let me know.
Thank you

This class uses a Curio, but you could try on your Explore Air. It all depends on how much cutting material depth the machine has.

Can you use the Cricut Maker machine for this

Hi Leslie, You can use your Cricut but you have to adjust the thickness of your polymer clay to the depth of the Cricut Maker. You would need to do some tests. :)

Can you use Tim Holtz Vagabond 2 machine? This is what I own.

That machine is not a digital product but a manual die-cutting machine. If you have a flower die, you could give it a try. It should work!
