Alcohol Ink Techniques Revealed
Raise your hand if you have alcohol inks in your craft supply stash and are not exactly sure how what to do with them.
Lis-el Crowely will leave you in awe at the possibilities of what you can create!!
Alcohol inks are vibrant, transparent and flow organically. They are suitable for working on non-porous surfaces and mingle and move in ways that create interesting and beautiful effects.
Lis-el demonstrates various ways to work with alcohol inks on Yupo paper, ceramic tiles and glass plates.
First start on Yupo paper to get comfortable with the inks. Ms. Crowley will demonstrate the use of masking fluid, plus a variety of tools to achieve special effects and create stunning landscapes to frame or use as special greeting cards.
Then see how to create personalized ceramic tiles to incorporate in numerous ways; a floral backsplash or custom coasters are some of the possibilities.
Lis-el will cover everything you need to know for creating either a matte or shiny finish to protect your “Inked” art.
As a BONUS you’ll see how to create your own customized glass plates. Charger plates, dinner plates or dessert plates in glass become customized to your color palette. And since all the magic happens on the back they are food safe, but please hand wash only.
