About this class

About this class

Join master metal clay artist Lis-el Crowley, and learn to make these stunning metal clay cuffs.

Using just 10 grams of clay and a few simple tools, you can create these wonderfully organic rolled edge cuffs from ez960 sterling silver clay. Perhaps one of the greatest properties of metal clay is it’s malleability. This project allows you to really explore the organic and flexible qualities of the clay. Lis-el will show you how to size properly, prepare your work surface, and create your own unique cuff which can be embellished in a variety of ways. Proper firing, testing for sintering and post firing shaping will also be discussed and demonstrated. Watch out though, because this project is highly addictive and once you start, you may not be able to stop.

This is a great project whether you are a metal clay beginner or want to increase your metal clay skills and techniques!
