Now that was a Party!
Thursday February 9, 2012Last night’s online live webinar was truly amazing.
100’s and 100’s of people came online from around the world to join in and share a love of tools. I want to thank Patrik Kusek, Cynthia Tinapple, Wanaree Tanner andJill Erickson for showing us all some of the tools they love and how to use them. They’re the best. Also a big CRAFTCAST thanks to Aftosa.com, polymerclayexpress.com, metalclayartist.com and timlazure.com for the generous give-aways they provided. (Make sure and check out all those links)
And to all of you who signed up for the one or more of the upcoming LIVE classes that were officially announced, I say thank you so much for your support and shared excitement about all the new classes.
When I was 10 and a girl scout, the first badge I worked on was the communication badge. The requirements were to make penpal friends around the world and share our love of making things. (I think I added in the part about sharing our love of making things.) I had friends in England and Australia and loved sending and then receiving those airmail letters filled with new information about things previously unknown. I flat out loved making those connections and sharing. So it’s no big surprise that CRAFTCAST was just waiting for technology to catch up, that sharing a passion of craft and creating could once again become a reality in my life.
Dreams and passions don’t die, they just expand. xo
