Mary Todd Beam, is a painter, a popular workshop instructor, a lecturer and lots of fun to chat with.
I came across Mary’s book, The Creative Edge, and was immediately obsessed with creative expression through acrylic paint!
Oh, so much to do and talk about.
Listen in to my chat with Mary as she talks about her creative process.
Also, books to discuss, music to hear, and new class announcements.
Enjoy.

I was fantastic listening to Marry Todd Beam, not just talk about her art but her whole ethos of art and life! I really subscribe to the idea of there not being strict rules in art! Art is to be explored and experimented with, to see what works for you and if its brilliant great, if its ‘not your cup of tea’ move on to try something different, there are too many brilliant fun arty things to do to get hung up over 1 thing, get out there and give EVERY THING A GO!
I wish we all got to meet all these amazingly interesting and influential women like Mary, on a day to day basis, what a fantastic world this would be!
Its wonderful to have women like Mary to learn so much from! Its great to be able to read her inspiring books, and take a magical spark of something new and exciting, and apply it into what ever medium we work with.
I am such a firm believer of interconnecting all things creative and inspirational, and passing that special bit of magic to who ever we met where ever we are.
