Great show, again! I am going to have a great mustache day everyday from now on! Wait a minute… that doesn’t sound right. Yay for Wooly Willy!
This was my first time listening to this show and it was great! Will be back again!
Thanks so much for a great show. I loved your interview with Claudine! I am a big fan of her artwork and her products. Plus, she is such a great animal advocate, which is an added plus. Have a great day!
Claudine is what all artists should try to be. She is extremely creative, fun, and disciplined, but has a real sense of business and how to market herself. Every little detail is covered when you order her artwork down to great packaging. Thanks for having her on.
I learned so much from Claudine’s DVD about collage & when I need inspiration I take another look. Admire her artistry & professionalism. Thanks Alison! your interviews always give me a boost, creatively & personally.
One of the amazing qualities of your show is the diversity of art, textiles, working with paper, jewlery making, connecting art to stitch, creative journaling, etc. Its like a drop of creativeness entering this pool on inspiration, and seeing the amazing ripple affect by listening to your amazing guests, gaining knew skills and ideas, how they are interlinking as the ripple effect keeps going out and getting bigger and bigger! The magic is how you take the professional words of wisdom and go with it, in what ever mediums you work with!
I gained so much from Claudines’s show, that she has excited me so much, I just want to get out there and find out soooooo much more about her, her work, her books etc.
My daughter and I have been a big fan of Ranger products and get THE MOST amazing results with these products as students doing professional qualifications. The thought of Claudine’s work fused with Ranger products is too exciting, and I will be checking out all her details!
Thank you Alison for your professional, creative, informative, and inspirational show. Your work producing this show is so much appreciated, as there is no where in England, or on the web which will ever make the grade you have set.
With many thanks as always
Nicky :) happy crafting!
I absolutely loved this podcast - your discussion with Claudine really hit home about a lot of things I’ve been wrestling with lately. The statement that really stuck with me was “creativity craves restriction.” I can definitely get overwhelmed when I am free to create for myself, but when I go to design for a client it is some how easier - just that little bit of guidance. Thanks for getting my brain going on this idea! I enjoyed the conversation at the “watercooler” today ; )

Claudine is teaching her “Waxing Poetic” workshop nearby in a couple of weeks and I feel very fortunate to be able to attend, so I was really excited to hear that you were going to be talking to her again this week! It was a great show, as always. I’m a fan of Golden products, but I can’t wait to try Claudine’s new line, I’m sure I’ll be converted.
Thank you so much for your show Alison. I listen to you while I work in my studio. I laugh while I learn. I’m constantly writing something down to look up later, (sometimes I pause my ipod and run to my computer to look something up right away!)I just wish your shows lasted longer!
I really enjoyed your interview with Claudine Hellmuth. I am a big fan of her work and ofcourse love her products. It sure will be a treat to win her stuff. Thank for the awesome giveaway.
I adore every single episode of CraftCast that you do but since I am such a HUGE fan of Claudine’s and her great products, this has to be one of my favorites. You and Claudine both sounded like you just had a great time, too. And YAY for Tera Byte being such a great studio pup. :)
Peace & Love,
~Barb~
i’ve been wanting to try the sticky back canvas for a while. so i am going shopping. :-)
I love Claudine Hellmuth and her work - thanks for having her on your show!
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the giveaway! I was going to buy the creativity kit today, but I’ll wait just in case I get lucky… :)
I thoroughly enjoyed this week’s interview. I’m lucky I was able to take Claudine’s 4-day workshop in Sedona last year. FANTASTIC! She’s a jewel. It was just great to hear her voice again. Lorie
Another good show. Good to catch up with Claudine.
I enjoyed listening to your chat with Claudine. It was also fun to be reminded of “Wooly Willy”…I had forgotten all about that toy! Love it.
This was the first time I have listened in, how much fun! I will be back!!
Back in 2006 I bought ones of Claudine’s books. I think I listened to her on your show. I was designing the college magazine at the time and I decided to use her collage method to illustrate the article. It was so much fun. I wish I could attach a jpeg to show you but I don’t know how to do that in a comment box.
I am going to have to go to her website to see what she has been up to.
Great interview. I lol when Claudine said her cat Mabel couldn’t jump. We had a basset hound named Mabel and she weighted a few to many pounds also.
Both of you are so inspiring.
Loved this episode of the podcast. I was lucky enough to take a workshop from Lyric Kinard at quilt festival in Houston… I’ll have to look for her book! Claudine was a hoot to listen to, I’d love to be a winner!
Thanks for a great show. I agree with Claudine, twitter is my watercooler too.
Shucks! Claudine was teaching in my home state and I missed it! Please come back to Maine, Claudine! Loved the podcast, as usual. They are my morning news on my commute. Love my ipod.
I’ve read Claudines articles in Somerset Studios magazine and found her work inspiring. I have listened a few times to her impromptu mixed media project at her site — but I definitely enjoyed the inverview chat more.
Thanks for the show, Alison! I love Claudine’s style & have always been intrigued by her designs. She has a fabulous sense of humor too!
Loved this Podcast as I have loved your previous one with Claudine. I love how inspired I feel and all the Aha moments I get when I hear her wax poetic about being an artist, working methods and the natural evolving of it all. Her candid way of speaking gets me every time, she just resonates with me. All that being said I love her books and DVD’s and often refer back to them.
PS> I must agree with you about her Studio Paint Line…..LOVE the colors and the creamy consistency. They go on great opaquely, and dilute down to translucent goodness too! They are highly pigmented and not chalky. Her mediums are great and I love her pack of brushes…economical and just great brushes!
I am a new listener, your podcasts are so inspiring! I listen while I’m at work, and by the time your podcast ends, I’m hopping around like the graphite pieces in the Wooly Willy, excited to get home and get started! Thanks for the great interviews.
Great show, I love listening to craftcast! The only thing I wish was if the show was longer - more Claudine and interviewing :P Can’t get enough - thanks!
I love Claudine and it was great to hear her on the show again! Her collage discovery books are awesome and can’t wait for the chance to check out her newest book and play with her products!

LOVED eavesdropping on your watercooler visit with Claudine.
Just recd. a iPod from my sister & I downloaded alot of your old podcasts….LOVE THEM!!!
I just found you and your podcasts. What great inspiration! This was a great show for me to start with since I already am in love with Claudine’s sticky back canvas and find plenty of ways to use it in my creative endeavors. I have so much paint in my studio at the moment I’m waiting to use up some of what I have before I start buying hers, but I am really looking forward to trying it at some point. Thanks for the interview as well as all of your reviews and commentary. Lots of fun!
