Talking with Dan Cormier!

April 21, 2008

Today I talk with polymer clay ‘explorer’ Dan Cormier. So much fun talking with Dan about how he approaches his creative journey. I laughed a lot, learned a lot and enjoyed every word!

  1. [...] Did you know that Alison Lee was a Girl Scout? I happily flunked Girl Scouts, but was glad to see it brought back pleasant memories for Lee. She covers this and a lot of other ground in her interview with polymer clay pioneer Dan Cormier. [...]

  4. I’ve never heard such a self-indulgent wanker in all of my life!!

Just kidding, I’m one of Dan’s sarcastic friends. It was actually a great interview and it was wonderful to hear Dan speak about what moves him as a artist and creative person. I’ve had the benefit of watching him move along in his creative endeavours for the last decade and it’s great to see him spreading his amazing polymer passion around the world. I’ve also benefited in my own polymer work from Dan’s generous tips and Tracy’s astute insights on the craft world. Thanks for the podcast, Alison!
