Today I talk with Susan Lenart Kazmer, artist, jeweler, author, and a authentic creative spirit! Here is a quote from Susan’s website: “My job as an artist is to take the found object and present it in a new and unexpected way.”
Susan certainly accomplishes transforming the ordinary in her work and her writing. You will be inspired, after hearing Susan speak, to look at discarded objects with a different sensibility.

Have you done any shows about Ravelry.com? Great stuff and people. I am an artist… felter, sculptor, spinner, crafter and painter part of the Artist Mothers Group on Long Island.
I am in the process of listening to your shows in succession. I really enjoy them keep up the good work!
Allison,
As someone who listens to a lot of podcasts, and someone who is currently working on creating a new podcast, i want to applaud you on the wonderful quality and soul and heart of your show.
I really enjoyed it!
Look forward to hearing more!
best,

Great show Allison!
I’m really into a lot of things and I’m enjoying it as a hobbies crafter and art maker but I do agree with you on putting some things aside and saying “later” to one self. Though it’s difficult when you want to do everything, right? Loved this show, you both sound so happy and filled with energy, and the Making (cold) connection book will go on my wish list even though I’m not a jewelry maker I think it looks so beautiful as does Susan’s artwork jewelery!
And I hope you’ll do a show about resin too when that book comes out - or sooner!
Thanks for a great show!
Did I miss the link about how you’re going to be in Baltimore next month? I live near there. Where will you be speaking?
