Today I talk with artist Maggie Taylor.
After more than ten years as as still-life photographer, Maggie began to use the computer to create her entrancing images. Her work is widely published, and shown in galleries across the country, plus if you happen to catch the TV show, The Ghost Whisper, the opening credits montage shows you a sample of her work.
Check out her website and latest book project, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
Also a big thank you to this month’s sponsors, Art Jewelry Magazine and Whole Lotta Whimsy.

Thanks to all for rocking the house last night in MasterClass with Robert Dancik. That was the largest attendance in a MasterClass so far, 90 participants from around the world. Also a big thank you to my wonderful sponsors, Whole Lotta Whimsy and Art Jewelry Magazine. I don’t know about you, but having something new and inspiring to read each month plus a place to buy my supplies, makes me one happy person! Lots more classes to come in January, so stay tuned for that. Plus on Wednesday the full recording of “Forming Meaningful and Lasting Connections” goes on sale here. Also, included with the recording, are the links to all the images shown during class. Thanks again for everyone’s support and encouragement!

My soul sister and bff, Susan Lomuto, gave me a present of art supplies. (the best kind of present there is!)
She just opened a new ETSY store, called Text Messages. These vintage vocabulary cards are for sale there. (go now before there all gone)
I spent last night working on some ATC’s for the last meeting of my fiber class.
I did some gel transfers (after re-listening to the Transfer That! class)
I used the type from the cards, then added color and texture.
My favorite is:
TAWDRY The tawdry decorations were not the work of artists.
LOL.

Late at night my stash of yarns and fibers calls. Off I go into the night, crocheting away.
I only do unstructured crocheting. No rules, no patterns, no direction….lol…
I call it unstructured just to give it an official sounding name.
It’s really more free form wild abandon with needle in hand!
I have a good time.
Never know what’s next!
