Today I talk with Michael Erard author of
“Um…. Slips, Stumbles, and Verbal Blunders and What they Mean.”
Michael has written an informative and entertaining book about all kinds of verbal bloopers.
One of my personal favorites is the actress who recited her line,
“and the fog was as thick as seapoop…”

Today I talk with Harriete Estel Berman. Harriete uses metalsmithing to make political statements with her art and jewelry.
“My jewelry is constructed from recycled tin containers as symbols of our consumer society. The materials are not as precious as gold or silver but in many ways reflect more accurately the values of our society,” states Ms. Berman.
Also enjoy a wonderful song by Fischer called Beautiful Life, a review of an “artful” tea and “a little something to think about.”
