In this 2 part class, expert instructor Michael David Sturlin will further explore the use of the Jeweler's Saw and how to design, layout, pierce and assemble a pendant or medallion.
Mr. Sturlin will quide you with his expertise and teaching insights on the how-to, plus tips and guidance on planning and execution.
Some of the design determinations will cover: project dimensions, outer shape, inner shape, perspective, border design, repetitive elements, repetitive pattern design and central focal design
Michael addresess the development of the evocative or meaningful content, defining and refining the individual design elements, continuing with laying out or applying the finished design to the metal; determining the sequence strategy for sawing, drilling, piercing, filing and finishing.
